Brilliant Young World Stars Series –
Violinist Sean Lee with HK’s Best Young Artists & HKGNA Young Virtuosi
We are proud to present our second edition of “Brilliant Young World Stars Series”, featuring the extraordinary violin virtuoso Sean Lee.
Sean was a prize winner of the Paganini International Violin Competition and Young Concert Artists International Auditions. He also received the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant from Lincoln Center.
His performances have been hailed by The New York Times as “breathtakingly beautiful.” Sean is a faculty at Perlman Music Program and chamber music faculty at Juilliard Pre-college.
Joining Sean Lee on stage will be our HKGNA International Music Competition Grand Prize Winner pianist Alex Wun, performing Beethoven’s Sonata No. 8 in G Major, Op. 30 No. 3selections from Paganini’s 24 Caprices. Talented young artists violinist Anson Leung, violist Martin Kuo, and cellist Erica Wong, winners from our competitions, will also be performing together Schumann’s Piano Quintet.
We are also featuring HK’s finest young artists, the HKGNA Young Virtuosi, premier ensemble selected from our Competition, enchanting us with Vivaldi’s Winter from The Four Seasons.
