richardViolist Richard O’Neill is an Emmy Award winner, two-time Grammy nominee, and Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient. He has appeared as soloist with the London, Los Angeles, Seoul, and Euro-Asian Philharmonics; the BBC, KBS, and Korean Symphonies; the Moscow, Vienna, and Württemburg Chamber Orchestras; and Alte Musik Köln with conductors Andrew Davis, Vladimir Jurowski, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Highlights of this season include collaborations with Gidon Kremer, concertos with Kremerata Baltica, his first tour to China with Ensemble DITTO and a European tour and complete Beethoven quartet cycle with the Ehnes Quartet. As recitalist he has performed at Carnegie, Avery Fisher, Kennedy Center, Wigmore, Louvre, Salle Cortot, Madrid’s National Concert Hall, Tokyo’s International Forum and Opera City, Osaka Symphony Hall, and Seoul Arts Center.

A Universal/DG recording artist, he has made eight solo albums that have sold more than 150,000 copies. Dedicated to the music of our time, he has premiered works composed for him by Elliott Carter, John Harbison, Huang Ruo, and Paul Chihara. In his tenth season as Artistic Director of DITTO he has introduced tens of thousands to chamber music in South Korea and Japan.

The first violist to receive the Artist Diploma from Juilliard, he was honored with a Proclamation from the New York City Council for his achievement and contribution to the arts. He serves as Goodwill Ambassador for the Korean Red Cross, The Special Olympics, and UNICEF; runs marathons for charity; and teaches at UCLA. He is a former member of CMS Two.

Born in Seoul‭, ‬Korea‭, ‬Ms‭. ‬Kim began her violin studies at the age‭  ‬of five‭. ‬By age ten‭, ‬she had already debuted‭, ‬performing the‭ ‬‭ ‬Mendelssohn Concerto with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and won numerous prestigious competitions in Korea‭. ‬Admitted to the‭ ‬‭ ‬Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia‭, ‬when she was twelve‭, ‬she‭  ‬studied with Prof‭. ‬Aaron Rosand and graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree‭. ‬She went on to attend and graduated‭  ‬from the Juilliard School with a Masters of Music‭, ‬studying with Prof‭.‬‭ ‬Glenn Dicterow‭. ‬In 2001‭, ‬Ms‭. ‬Kim received her doctorate degree from the State University of‭  ‬N.Y‭.  ‬at Stony Brook while under full scholarship‭  ‬studying with Prof‭. ‬Lazar Gosman‭. ‬Ms‭. ‬Kim has won numerous competitions‭, ‬including Philadelphia Orchestra Competition and‭  ‬the Tibor Varga Competition‭, ‬and has performed extensively throughout the United States‭, ‬Europe‭, ‬and Asia‭. ‬Her solo‭ ‬‭ ‬appearances with orchestras include the Philadelphia Orchestra‭,  ‬Shanghai Philharmonic‭, ‬Seoul Philharmonic‭, ‬KBS Symphony‭, ‬Salzburg Kammerphil‭, ‬St‭. ‬Petersburg Chamber Orchestra‭, ‬Sejong‭  ‬Soloists‭, ‬and many other prestigious international orchestras and‭  ‬ensembles‭. ‬She gave her New York debut recital at Carnegie‭  ‬Hall in 1998‭ ‬as a recital award winner from the Korea Music Foundation‭.‬‭ Other renowned venues in which she has masterfully performed‭  ‬numerous widely acclaimed concerts worldwide include the Lincoln‭  ‬Center’s Alice Tully Hall‭, ‬the MerkinConcert Hall‭, ‬and Tokyo’s Suntory Hall‭, ‬among others‭. ‬Ms‭. ‬Kim is actively involved in‭  ‬chamber‭  ‬music‭, ‬performing around the world both as a soloist and as a‭  ‬chamber musician‭. ‬

She plays on the 1737‭ ‬Antonio Stradivarius‭ ‘‬Count D’armaille‭’ ‬Ms‭.  ‬Kim is currently a violin professor at Yonsei University in Seoul‭,  ‬Korea‭, ‬and a faculty member of the Summit Music Festival in NY‭.   

clara‬Minhye Clara Kim has appeared as soloist‭, ‬recitalist‭, ‬and chamber musician throughout North America‭, ‬Europe‭, ‬and Asia‭. ‬She has‭ ‬performed and taught at the Jerusalem Music Center‭, ‬Norfolk Chamber Music Festival‭, ‬Seoul Music Festival‭, ‬Great Mountains Music‭ ‬Festival‭, ‬Beauvais Music Festival‭, ‬and Festival Music Alp in France‭. ‬In 2003‭ ‬she was the youngest ever appointed to the string faculty at the Juilliard School Pre-College Division‭. ‬She is also on the faculty of Columbia University and the Perlman Music Program‭. ‬Recipient of numerous grants‭, ‬she studied at the Juilliard School‭ (‬Pre-college‭), ‬the New England Conservatory of Music‭ (‬B.M‭.), ‬and Columbia‭ (‬Ed.D.C.T‭., ‬Teachers College‭) ‬and Yale‭ (‬M.M‭.) ‬Universities‭.‬

warrenSince his televised debut with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of six, Hong Kong-born pianist Warren Lee was destined for a lifelong career in music, both on and off the stage.
Graduated from the Royal Academy of Music and Yale School of Music with the highest of honours, Warren was the first-prize winner of the 1995 Stravinsky Awards International Piano Competition and the “Grand Prix Ivo Pogorelich”, following which he made his European debut at the Pogorelich Festival in Germany at the age of 18.

Warren’s artistry has brought him to concert stages in four continents, gracing stages of all sizes and forms, and in collaboration with leading artists in the region. In recognition of his achievements in the performing arts and contribution to the community, Warren received the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award in Hong Kong in 2012.

jeremy-williamsJeremy Williams began his career as a violinist with the London Symphony Orchestra. He was a member of the Delme Quartet and Nash Ensemble, playing regularly with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields and the London Sinfonietta. As violinist with the York Trio and violist with the Beethoven String Trio of London, he featured regularly on BBC broadcasts and made numerous recordings. Concert tours have taken him to major festivals all over the world including Edinburgh, Salzburg, Prague, Hong Kong and venues ranging from the Wigmore Hall, London, Sydney Opera House to the Forbidden City, Beijing. In 1998 Jeremy was appointed Principal Viola with the Hong Kong Philharmonic and taught at the HK Academy for Performing Arts. Jeremy became a member of the Australian String Quartet in 2003 and in 2009 was appointed Lecturer in Chamber Music and Director of Strings at the University of Tasmania. He has taught at the Sydney and Adelaide Conservatorium and Artist in Residence at the Queensland Conservatorium.
He was first violinist with the Diemen Quartet whilst resident in Tasmania. He relocated to Hong Kong in 2015 dedicating himself to education, currently conducting the Yew Chung International School Orchestra and mentoring chamber music at Wah Yan School. In 2016 he formed Hong Kong Camerata Strings, an ensemble for talented young string players. With Gian Paolo and Richard Bamping he plays viola with the Fiorini String Trio. Jeremy studied violin at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London with Yfrah Neaman and David Takeno. He has recorded the Dvorak Piano Quintet with the Nash Ensemble for Virgin Classics.

euna-kim Euna Kim was born in Seoul, Korea and studied violin and chamber music in Korea and Germany. Her teachers included Professors Nam-Yun Kim, Zahkar Bron, Walreri Gradow and Anthony Spiri. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the School of Music at the Korean National University of Arts, a Diploma in Violin Performance and Chamber Music from the Koelner Musikhochschule in Germany, and a Konzertexamen from the Staatliche Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Mannheim.

Euna has won first prize at numerous competitions in her native country Korea. Then in 2003, she received First Prize as a chamber musician at the Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Competition in Germany. She has given solo and chamber music recitals in several cities in Germany including the Konzerthaus in Berlin, Schloss Albrechtsberg in Dresden, Beethoven String Trio Abend in Ratingen, Duesseldorf . She was also invited to the Suzett Festival of summer music in France, the Verbier Music Festival in Switzerland, the Gaida Contemporary Music Festival in Lithuania, the Crescendo Music Festival in Berlin, the Niedersachsen International Chamber Music Festival in Germany and several other occasions in Europe, and the Bowdoin Music Festival in the USA, Japan and China. Between 2009 and 2010 she successfully completed performing the concerts “Complete Beethoven Sonatas for Piano and Violin” in Seoul, Korea.

Euna has performed as soloist with Seoul Chamber Orchestra, Seoul Academy Symphony Orchestra, Korean Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, and several times with Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra.

She taught as a faculty at the Korean National University of Arts and Seoul Arts High School. She was also the 1st violin principal for the Suwon philharmonic orchestra and a member of Seoul Chamber Orchestra.

Since she moving to Hong Kong in 2010, Euna had a recital at the Hong Kong University in 2012 and also with Hong Kong Chamber Music Society in 2013. She has been participating in numerous chamber music performances in Hong Kong and Macau and both in 2011 and 2014 she appeared at the Hong Kong Arts Festival.

meidadA native of Israel, Mr. Yehudayan performs around the world, as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. He recently performed at the International Chamber Music Festivals of AMEROPA in the Czech Republic, Fossa String Festival, California and a few Concertos in USA, Hong Kong, Korea and Israel. Mr. Yehudayan was also invited to play solo at the main event of the World Peace Festival 2005 in Korea in which all proceeds from the festival were donated to Unicef.

Mr. Yehudayan received his Bachelor of Music Degree and Artist Diploma in the Faculty of Performing Arts from the Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and Dance, later studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He acquired his Master of Music Degree from the Manhattan School of Music.
Mr. Yehudayan is the Orchestra and Strings Director at Hong Kong International School since 2001.

zhangyue_picYue Zhang started his piano training at the age of seven. He is currently pursuing his Master degree in Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts under the tutelage of Prof. Gabriel Kwok. He has won Grand Prize at HKGNA music competition and made his triumphant New York Debut concert at the Carnegie Weill Recital Hall New York Debut July, 2015 with rousing standing ovation. He also won many top prizes including Silver prize at Tokyo International Piano Competition in Asia. Yue has performed as a soloist with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Xiamen Symphony Orchestra and Hong Kong Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra,Academy Symphony Orchestra. He was invited to give performance in Shantou University, Shenzhen concert hall etc. 2014 he was invited to make his debut concert in Italy, and Release his first CD named “Hong Kong Piano Marathon Studium”and the concert was broadcasted to cities in Europe by classical music channel radio 3 Rai. He was also invited to perform at HKGNA Music Festival 2014 “ Stars of Today and Tomorrow” concert. He has participated in master classes of Russell Sherman,Hung-Kuan Chen,Dan Zhaoyi, Jerome Lowenthal and Anton Kuerti etc. Yue is the awardee of The Talent Development Scholarship from The HKSAR Government and YAMAHA Scholarship.
