HKGNA International Music Competition 2021

We are proud to present the 4th edition of the HKGNA International Music Competition 2021!

HKGNA has proudly awarded and presented our past Competition Grand Prize winners with concert performances in the HKGNA Music Festival and at Carnegie Hall in 2010, 2015 and 2017. In 2017, our grand prize winner performed to a sold out concert audience at Carnegie Hall in a 20th Anniversary of HKSAR celebratory concert supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office New York.

For the very first time, we are opening our Competition to international applicants! Interested applicants can audition and perform virtually. Competition winners will receive cash prizes from our title sponsor Yang Won Sun Foundation. Hong Kong winners will be awarded the opportunity to perform overseas and international winners the opportunity to perform in a Hong Kong Debut Concert.

This year, the final round concert for Hong Kong Young Artists will be held on November 24, 2021 at the Y Theatre, Youth Square, and the Virtual Competition Final Round for International Young Artists & International Junior Young Artists will be held on November 30, 2021.

Application is now open until September 30, 2021.
