Brilliant World Stars Series – “Masters & Rising Stars”

World-renowned K-ARTS Faculty, Cellist Kangho Lee & Violinist Young-Uk Kim with Hong Kong’s Rising Stars!

The acclaimed Brilliant World Star Series returns on May 11, uniting international artistry with Hong Kong’s brightest young talents. Experience a captivating evening as esteemed K-ARTS faculty members, cellist Kangho Lee, renowned for his impeccable technique & artistry, and violinist Young-Uk Kim, founding member of the internationally celebrated Novus Quartet take the stage.

The masters will be joined by our HKGNA International Music Competition winners, 2016 Grand Prize winner pianist Wong Sze Yuen, in a soul-stirring piano trio performance. The evening also features 2014 First Prize winner pianist Wong Wai Yuen in the highly anticipated World Premiere of a new work “Overmorrow” by rising Hong Kong–raised composer Leiph Hilton, alongside 2025 First Prize winners violinists Chloe Chan and Evan Wong. Together with the HKGNA Young Virtuosi, this concert promises a vibrant dialogue between generations and an unforgettable celebration of musical excellence.
