We are proud to present our 4th edition of HKGNA Music Festival 2017. We will be presenting a series of awe-inspiring concerts with legends of the classical music world, renowned international guest artists and Hong Kong’s best musicians performing together with our HKGNA emerging artists.
Our incredible line-up of concerts with top international artists include orchestral and concerto performances with the legendary Chinese pianist Yin Cheng-zong performing his historic Yellow River Piano Concerto together with Hong Kong’s very own PolyU Orchestra under the direction of artistic director, Leung Kin-Fung.
In our annual Chamber Concert, we welcome the brightest stars of classical Music, “Kumho Asiana Soloists”, featuring Violinist Ji Young Lim, 1st prize winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, Pianist Da Sol Kim, top Prize Winner in the Geza Anda, Queen Elisabeth, ARD and Van Cliburn Piano Competitions, Cellist Min-Ji Kim, top prize winner of many international competitions. They will perform with Hong Kong’s very own superstars of classical music, Hong Kong Philharmonic Concertmaster Jing Wang and Hong Kong Philharmonic Viola Principal Yu Sun in a fantastic musical and cultural collaboration!
We are also proud to showcase our HKGNA Stars and Friends concert with performances by founder of HKGNA, Michelle Kim, HK Philharmonic Concertmaster Jing Wang, HK Philharmonic Cello Principal, Richard Bamping along with HKGNA Music Competition 2016 Grand Prize Winner, Pianist Wong Sze Yuen, 2010 HKGNA NY Debut Competition Winner, Pianist Liyan He, 1st Prize Winner junior piano division, Pianist Grace Cheung, 1st Prize Winner junior strings division Jinan Woo, HKGNA rising star harpist, Annalise Mak and HKGNA/ADA Musical Angels Lee Shing and Lee Hin, as well as Sun Yim. This year’s HKGNA music festival will be an incredible musical extravaganza!
Over the past years, we have been bringing music excellence to individuals, audiences and the Hong Kong performing arts community through our festivals. We continue to provide our next generation dream come true performance and development opportunities and to transform lives through music!
