Composer
Leiph (Dominic) Hilton, a Hong Kong–raised composer and multi-instrumentalist, is emerging as a rising star in contemporary classical music. Currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Hilton’s work is grounded in tonality while embracing radiant colors and impressionistic nuance. Drawing inspiration from the harmonic elegance of Ravel, Ibert, and Debussy, he now expands his musical language toward more fluid and gestural sound worlds influenced by Kaija Saariaho, striving to achieve an expressive balance between clarity, texture, and emotional depth.
